Zhongshan Shengyang Motor Co., Ltd. is a national high-tech enterprise specializing in the production, R&D, and sales of stepper motors, DC motors, and brushless motors, established in 2011. Located in Xiaolan Town, Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province, the company covers 20,000 square meters and employs 500 experienced staff, ensuring efficient and high-quality production.

Production overview

Rotor stator processing workshop

The stator and rotor processing workshop is equipped with over 50 high-precision machines, ensuring efficient and accurate production. Key equipment includes CNC automatic cylindrical grinding machines, automatic adhesive coating machines, and fully automatic honing machines (2-axis, 3-axis, and 6-axis) for precise grinding and coating of stators and rotors. Additionally, the workshop features hydraulic presses, ultrasonic cleaning equipment, and automatic ultrasonic cleaners to ensure the cleanliness and smoothness of components. This collaborative setup allows for the efficient production of high-quality stators and rotors, ensuring stable and reliable core performance of stepper motors.

Automatic Winding Workshop

The automatic winding workshop is equipped with over 60 efficient machines focused on precision stator winding. Key equipment includes single, dual, quad, and six-station winding machines, allowing for flexible production to meet various demands. Automated loading and unloading machines enhance efficiency and reduce manual intervention. The workshop also features comprehensive testing instruments, pin insertion machines, soldering machines, and magnetic strip inserters to ensure the electrical performance and quality of the wound stator components. This automated setup enables the rapid, high-quality completion of winding processes, ensuring the precision and reliability of the motors.

End Cap Processing Workshop

The end cap processing workshop is equipped with advanced machinery to ensure high-precision and efficient production. CNC lathes and automated CNC machines are used for the precise machining of end caps, achieving high accuracy in cutting and grinding to meet strict technical specifications. The workshop also features multi-axis automatic tapping and drilling machines, significantly improving production speed and consistency. With these automated tools, the workshop produces high-quality, reliable products, ensuring the stability and durability of stepper motors during assembly and use.

Assembly Workshop

The assembly workshop is equipped with 41 machines dedicated to the efficient assembly and testing of stepper motors. Key equipment includes magnetization power supplies, robotic magnetizers, comprehensive testing devices, rotating testers, automatic screw machines, and laser marking machines to ensure precise assembly and performance evaluation. The workshop features Nema 16 automatic assembly lines and Nema 17 testing lines, along with soundproof and servo pressure rooms to guarantee smooth operation under low noise conditions. This efficient collaboration of automated equipment enables quick and high-quality completion of motor assembly and testing.

Warehouse

The warehouse features spacious storage areas and utilizes an advanced inventory management system to ensure efficient storage and circulation of raw materials and finished products. Strict product classification and batch management are implemented to guarantee order accuracy and timely delivery. We have secure and reliable storage facilities and conduct regular inventory checks to ensure ample stock and smooth logistics, providing customers with a stable supply chain assurance.

Quality inspection

Stator Machining

The first step in production is the machining of the stator and rotor. As core components of the motor, their precision is crucial. In this workshop, raw materials undergo cutting, grinding, and machining to ensure the parts meet precision standards, offering high durability and efficiency.
Automatic Winding

After the stator and rotor machining is complete, the stator undergoes coil winding. The automatic winding workshop utilizes modern automated winding equipment to precisely wind copper wire into the stator's slots using high-precision techniques. This process ensures the motor's electromagnetic performance, enabling accurate step control.
End Cap Machining

The end caps provide protection and support for the motor. In this process, the end caps are precisely machined to ensure a perfect fit with the internal structure, while also offering sufficient strength and stability.
Final Assembly and Testing

The components are sent to the final assembly workshop. Here, workers assemble the quality-checked parts to create a complete stepper motor. After assembly, the motor undergoes final performance testing to ensure it meets customer application requirements.
Quality inspection

After processing the key components, they enter the quality inspection stage. Each part undergoes rigorous testing to meet strict quality standards. Inspectors use advanced equipment to check the stator, rotor, winding, and end caps for dimensions, precision, and durability. Additionally, sound tests ensure smooth, low-noise operation, while leakage tests guarantee electrical safety. Performance tests for voltage, pressure, and torque verify compliance with design specifications, and visual inspections ensure a smooth, flawless surface. This process ensures the stepper motor delivers reliable, efficient performance.
